Occasionally, a new idea comes up, but it is rare, and if and when I see something interesting I pass it on to engineering. Not sure anything I have pushed has got any further though. On the whole, most things you can think of have been discussed internally.I recall Eben long ago saying he wouldn't consider the RP2 to be a success if there weren't two or more chips produced and four months ago he was playing the Raspberry Pi game which insists they don't announce products in advance while doing so, hinting there could be another RP2 chip on the way -

It seems unlikely to me they would abandon their multi-million dollar investment in producing silicon and not produce another chip.
What a future chip will have if one arrives, and whether it fits with what people may want, is anyone's guess.
Expressing desires or presenting a Wish List for future products usually gets a thread locked so I am not even sure what pathways there are to express what one might like. It's been considered insulting to suggest the very capable Raspberry Pi engineers may not have thought of everything, have got it wrong, so take care in what you say.
The reason we lock threads is they always end up in "My idea is better than yours" or "Your idea is insane" or "We cannot talk about any future products"
