It doesn't match because the github repo will give you the bleeding edge development kernel.
I am 96% sure that that's not it either. Why: I tried several commits from the GH repo. I tried several current state from the repo in the past few days, the newest one being a few hours ago (bearing version 6.6.25), and I tried two topmost commit hashes from https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware ... a/git_hash
*ALL* of them give me the same symbol versions (different from the official).

I'm leaving 4% for a chance that there are additional patches applied to kernel sources, which are not reflected in the GH repo, but would be reflected in the apt sources package.

I will try it later, thanks for the suggestion!
