I have looked and could not find an issue like this already documented.
I have built some CM4 based NAS systems. (https://www.hackster.io/cyberleader3000 ... are-38a258)
They use the CM4 with IO board to connect an ASM1064 SATA card to 4 drives. Currently, it runs OMV6 on Bullseye, since Bullseye will no longer be supported I wanted to move to OMV7 on Bookworm.
However, it seems that PCIe SATA cards are no longer supported on BookWorm for the CM4? Is this going to be fixed?
The kernel configuration appears to have changed breaking SATA support on PCIe for the CM4. There is a good discussion on GitHub (https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/5659)
I do not mind building a custom kernel, however I don't know the correct configuration.
At the moment I have built 3 CM4 IO board NAS systems 6 months ago and they are useless because the OS is no longer supported. I would really rather not have to buy new PI5 hardware to get software support.
Thanks!
