That's what I expected, but wanted to be sure... I've seen some decent efficiency improvements with the new chip, though not when running anything memory-constrained. I'm guessing the dark silicon is still sapping a little power overall. Switching node between a stepping would be VERY unusual - that would almost become a totally new design due to all the libraries changing.
