We had Fuzix on a Pico, someone had a real slow Linux booting on a Pico by using a RISC-V emulator and SD Card, and later by adding PSRAM, and presumably this is more 'the real thing', builds upon that effort.

I'm not sure how useful it will be for me but it's always good to have options. And I've never been against "because I can", "just for fun", or just to discover where the boundaries are, to see what can be done which might not to be expected to be possible.

They've also proven that it is possible to have self-hosted development, editing and C compilation, using an RP2040 and probably even more so on the more capable RP235X.
