I have set every setting I know about to boot to the desktop, both in the Raspberry Pi Configuration GUI menu and the raspi-config CLI menu, to boot to Desktop. Despite this, my Raspberry Pi only ever boots to the CLI. It isn't like my Pi is completely broken with regards to the GUI, I am able to type "startx" and get to the GUI. However, I want to set up the Pi to mainly be accessible via VNC rather than needing to keep it plugged into a monitor, and if the Pi restarts I want it to go to the Desktop immediately so I can connect via VNC. Any ideas why this might be happening?
