cloning should work with X11 and wayfire.In the meantime, has anyone found a solution to get the two screens identical, banners included?
It seems unlikely to me that this problem has not already been solved elsewhere.
Is switching to X11 the only solution, and how should this be implemented

Extended desktop works on wayfire as well, but you can't place a window overlapping screen boards and/or to cover the entire extended desktop (at least not yet, WIP).
