It was really helpful, and to @Bennsimo I will probably just download retro pie and use it for a little portable retro gaming console, and im kinda broke rn so i don't think i will be able to get a pi4, do you think pi 3b would be sufficient?
I think your use case depends on which console you want to emulate. Very retro games such as Joust, Defender or Pac-Man should be fine. Something like a Playstation 2 not so much.
