Do you have a SSD drive larger than 120GB that you could try? that seems to be the tipping point for me.I've not been able to reproduce this so far.
I've formatted a usb drive as ntfs.
My Crucial 1TB SSD was working flawlessly since early December prior to a few days ago, then my Pi5 4GB crashed and on rebooting I started getting the error message.
I have a Kingston 120GB SSD that was formatted 16th Jan 2024 (yes I always date them!) as EXT4 using Gparted, and that mounts just fine on my Pi5.
I've also tried the Crucial 1TB SSD on another Pi5 I have that runs Pi OS + LibreELEC (Media Centre in the bedroom) and that one has the same issues with the Crucial drive.
I'm using a JMicron (or whichever one is the recommended one, I forget) USB to Sata adaptor cable, so don't think that's the issue.
Oh, and the Crucial SSD works just fine on a Pi4 4GB running LibreELEC.
