General discussion • Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

I have updated X2PINN with bug-fixes, improvements and Batocera 39 projects for all Pi's. I have only been able to test the version for Pi 5 locally, but the partiton layout is identical for all models, so I (fingers crossed) assume that it works for all....

About the projects for Batocera: I have changed "os->name" and "os_list->os_name" to simply "Batocera" which should cause Batocera 40 to be detected as an update to Batocera 39 rather than a new OS. I have increased the nominal size for both partitions in order to give headroom for updates. I am uncertain whether the "Model A/B" hardware is matched correct for BCM2835 in "supported_models".

A question about PINN: I cannot see how to match against "Pi Zero" without also matching "Pi Zero 2" with JSON field "supported_models". I have mitigated it by naming the supported models in the description, so users are able to choose the correct version. Would it be an idea to either allow regular expressions and/or SoC name in "supported_models" for better matching?
